Region 7 Reaccreditation Demonstrates WHS’s Commitment to Quality and Growth

On July 1, 2026, Wheatland Health Community Care’s Central Florida (Region 7) location was reaccredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC). Wheatland Health Systems, Inc. is proud to announce the milestone. The location serves as WHCC’s primary operating base for clinical, administrative, and community services.

Accreditation provides independent confirmation that an organization’s policies, procedures, and care meet recognized standards for quality and safety. Reaccreditation confirms that those standards continue to be sustained in daily operations.

For WHS, this milestone demonstrates that our quality systems can support responsible growth as we expand services. We continue strengthening daily operations by establishing clear review standards, standardizing procedures, providing staff training, monitoring quality, and increasing accountability across departments. These measures help leaders identify risks early, support field teams, and maintain consistent processes as we grow.

Region 7’s reaccreditation reflects the dedication of our entire team. Clinical leaders establish patient safety and care standards, while nurses, therapists, aides, social workers, and administrative professionals put those standards into practice each day. Our core values of competence, compassion, commitment, community, collaboration, and choice guide how we combine person-centered home care with consistent operating standards.

For WHS, growth means ensuring that every location has appropriate supervision, skilled professionals, reliable processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Region 7’s reaccreditation provides a strong foundation for that expansion.

Over the next year, WHS plans to develop new partnerships and evaluate opportunities to launch services where community needs and organizational readiness align. By working together, we can develop programs responsive to local needs, connect individuals with community resources, strengthen support networks, and improve access to coordinated care.

These collaborations can help local organizations benefit from shared expertise and workforce development while giving community members greater access to coordinated, high-quality services.

We thank our employees, clinicians, partners, patients, and families for helping us achieve this milestone. We remain committed to supporting the people, processes, and systems required to deliver community-rooted care with integrity throughout Central Florida and every community WHCC serves.
